PROCESS:

1. 2 small flashlights taped to board or arm of skater

2. video camera on lowest shutter speed, effects in after effects

3. skateboarders are video recorded at both l.e.s at a Skatepark in Chinatown and at Union Square Park --- both spaces are compared

OUR INTERFACE/INSTRUCTION SET:

1. Observe/interview skateboarders

2. Short ethnography/documentary on skaters at Union Square

3. Color-coded LED lights/”throwies” on skateboards

4. Skaters create patterns as they skate

5. Skating w/LEDs is traced using video and flash

6. Projected at space

7. The LED patterns create new space/structures
